Ann Howells (Carrollton, Texas) is the current president of the non-profit Dallas Poets Community. She also edits their biannual journal, Illya's Honey. Her work has appeared in a number of journals and anthologies, and she has a chapbook "Black Crow in Flight" (Main Street Rag, 2007.) Howell's work has been read on the Atlanta NPR affiliate, and she has been nominated for a Pushcart.
