Shelley Nation-Watson (Chicago, Illinois) is a Tulsa, Oklahoma native who has been writing and performing poetry in Chicago for nearly twenty years. Her work has been anthologized in "Growling Softy," and has appeared in journals such as Why Vandalism, Literary Mama, Hammers, and Strong Coffee. A host of the Wordslingers poetry radio show (broadast from Loyola University in Chicago,) Nation-Watson has been a Chicago Public School System teacher for eighteen years.
